Lee is a native American with British citizenship,
having lived and worked in the UK since 1981. During the course of her career,
she has been involved with book editing and publishing, copywriting,
graphic design and writing for newspapers, newsletters and magazines.
She set up Copywrite Corporation in the US in 1976, researching and writing
newspaper advertorials for a wide range of retail businesses.
Other activities included extensive copywriting for a large Florida property developer.
After moving to the UK, she found a niche editing and writing parts of many books
with an emphasis on health, food and cookery: this included
translating from English to American and vice versa.
Lee has written eleven books which have been published in the UK. They are-
- “Healthy Oils”
- “Aloe Vera”
- “Berries”
- “Juices & Smoothies”
- “Beginners Guide to Raising Chickens”
- “Raising Pigs”
- “Raising Goats”
- "Angels - Divine Messengers and Personal Guardians"
- "The Book of Angels"
- "Grandmother's Wisdom"
- "A Book for Granny"
Examples of some of her work can be seen on the
Books Written and Books Edited pages.
Some of the publishers she has worked with are--
- Amber Books
- Arcturus Publishing
- Barefoot Books
- Carroll & Brown
- Cico Books
- Dorling Kindersley
- Edbury Publishing
- Hamlyn
- Kyle Cathie

- Pan Macmillan/Rodale
- Quadrille Publishing
- Reader's Digest
- Saqi Books
- Thorsons (now part of Harper Collins)
- Watkins Publishing
She wrote and edited corporate and public sector magazines and newsletters,
market and annual reports. She contributed to consumer and trade magazines,
and conceived and produced promotional materials for a wide variety of clients.
She also provides text for websites: many sites have great visuals,
but are weakened by hard-to-understand copy or typographical errors.
Lee can put what you want to say into simple English.
Her background has given her broad experience working across multicultural boundaries
and exposed her to a variety of occupations. She can talk to anyone
from the shop floor to the boardroom, write about any subject,
and make it interesting and understandable.
